Does SnapTransact work like an auction?

No. An auction is a binding, fixed and non-confidential event with no flexibility and many non-negotiable conditions as per the terms and conditions attached to each auction.

SnapTransact is a non-binding, confidential and ongoing negotiation process that can continue until agreed by both parties, with the intention to form a contract once an agreed position is reached. If there happens to be multiple buyers offering to buy one property, they are each automatically warned by SMS/text and Email that there are multiple offers. Buyer’s details and offers are kept confidential.

Do I have to use a real estate agent to use SnapTransact?

No, however there are a number of advantages to be gained by using an experienced agent. The experienced agent combining with the SnapTransact technology can be of great assistance in maximising your selling price, even if you have some prior experience.

How does SnapTransact promote my property?

SnapTransact's function is not to promote your property. There are many great listing Portals already that do that for you. There is only one Live Document negotiation and communication site. It's all about the secure document that is created and  automatically passed around via SMS and Email, recording every step of the negotiations.

I’m a private seller, can I get all the SnapTransact functions that an accredited SnapTransact agent gets?

What support service is available through SnapTransact?

There are various levels of assistance you can elect to utilize. For instance, whilst in negotiations with a Buyer you can contact our Support Desk and request the direct assistance of an experienced Negotiator to help you achieve the most favourable terms and conditions with those negotiations. A fee is payable if direct negotiation assistance is requested.

Is SnapTransact a binding contract?

No. However  through SnapTransact’s years of experience it has been proven that when you have a willing Buyer and a willing Seller the deal comes together.

What do I do when somebody inspects my property?

Suggest that if they want to make an offer or communicate through the Live Message service which is confidential, then just go to SnapTransact.com.au and do so from there.

How secure is SnapTransact?

SnapTransact software and communications run on a secure sever. The only way your live Offer document can be accessed is via your email link or via your login

Can I upload photos to my property on SnapTransact to show my property off better?
No. SnapTransact has a provision to insert a link to the Listing Portal of your choice. This enables interested parties to view your property to its best advantage on the display Portal, whilst focusing purely on negotiations through SnapTransact
How do I promote my property?

Through Listing Portals such as realestate.com.au, domain.com.au, etc

What is included in my registration?

Each of your properties must be separately listed. The communications package and all the SMS generation throughout the process are included for all the properties that you list.

Does the registration cover all the salespeople in my office?

No. Each Agent/Salesperson must be a registered SnapTransact user.

Can I connect the secure SnapTransact link to my own listings on my office website?

Yes, there is a link  that you can copy and paste into your existing web portal.

If I connect the SnapTransact link to my website do my properties still appear on SnapTransact?

Yes

Can I use a SnapTransact  offer to leverage another buyer up?

No, it is our Policy and part of the Terms and Conditions Of Use with SnapTransact that the SnapTransact Offer detail is not to be disclosed to a competing Buyer. However, any Offer received after the first one is lodged generates an automatic advice to all those that offer, that there are now multiple offers on that property. This puts all participating Buyers under pressure to perform, with time of the essence.

How quick is it to connect a property to SnapTransact?

No more than 5 minutes

Is there any online support to guide me in the use of SnapTransact?

Can I get a hard copy of my documents?

Yes, the beauty of SnapTransact is that you can access and copy/print a hard copy whenever you need it.

Working from a single online SnapTransact document has the enormous benefit of removing a ton of paperwork from your desk.

What do I do when somebody inspects one of my listed propertys?

Suggest that if they want to make an offer or communicate through the Live Message service which is confidential, then just go to  SnapTransact and do so from there. You can also easily send each prospect a formatted email invitation from which they can directly link into the property on SnapTransact in order to make an offer

How does the Seller Live Messaging work through SnapTransact?

As an agent you can switch the feature on or off for the Seller to receive SnapTransact Messaging throughout the negotiating SnapTransact process, The buyer's personal details and contact numbers are hidden from the Seller, however the Seller can automatically receive any messaging you receive if you elect to do so.

Is it against the law to make a dummy offer through SnapTransact?

Yes. Even though it is not an Auction it is treated the same in this regard. As per SnapTransact Terms and Conditions

Is SnapTransact a binding contract?

No. However SnapTransact is based on the premise that it is facilitating negotiations between a willing Buyer and a willing Seller and therefore, successfully concluded negotiations on SnapTransact usually convert smoothly to Contracts.

How much does it cost me to make an offer through SnapTransact?

If the property on which you wish to make an offer is listed on SnapTransact, then there is no fee.

Can I make an offer on SnapTransact if the agent is not using the SnapTransact process?

Yes. You just need the Property Address, the Agent's Mobile phone number and Email address, The Agent is legally obliged to ensure that the Seller is made aware of your offer. The offer is Date and Time stamped  and cannot be tampered with by the Agent.

How does the Seller Live Messaging work through SnapTransact?

The Seller can elect to accept Live Messaging through SnapTransact when they or their Agent connects their property. The Seller's personal details and contact numbers remain anonymous, however they automatically receive any message that you might like to send.
